London
Our first stop was a hotel in London. Mew explained we had to stay here overnight so that we could easily get to the airport the next morning, without having to rush or worry about traffic delays (like we would if we went straight from home). We left for London a bit later than originally planned, but that turned out to be a good thing, as we later found out that a train had broken down on the Elizabeth line earlier in the day and we'd probably have been stuck on it for hours if we'd left before.
We dropped off our bags at the hotel and went to get something to eat at a nearby McDonald's.

I asked Mew to take my photo next to these pretty flower paintings that were on the wall ^_^
Mew was a bit worried tonight... her laptop cable wasn't working and she was concerned it would be broken for the whole trip. I'm only a little fox, I don't really know how to work those big computers... We spent the night listening to an interview with one of her favourite actors and then went to bed, in preparation for the early start next morning!
Mew: By the way, it turned out that multiple cables had been packed by accident, and the one I was trying was an older one... I found the correct cable in a different bag the next morning. Oops.
