Old fic I wrote about him - this isn't 100% canon these days, but the characterization in it is still pretty accurate, so I'm linking it anyway. Just keep in mind that it's old and outdated in places, okay?
(Untitled WaterBomb fic) (Ignore the petsite refs and stuff. As you can tell from the description below, large parts of this story have since been rewritten/recontextualized/etc, but meh, linking it anyway)

- Something of a loner at times, can be a bit aloof. When you get to know him, he's snarky and blunt. Enjoys telling dirty jokes, particularly at inappropriate times/places/etc.
- "WaterBomb" is just a nickname, one that he's had for most of his life. He won't tell anyone the story behind it, how he got the nickname in the first place, or what his real name is; all he'll say is that he's had this nickname for a long time and it's the name he's going by.
- His eyes have little hearts in the corner; they're actually contact lenses. Presumably, his real eye colour is just plain blue, but no one's actually seen him without the contacts, so who knows.
- Best friend is Lynxo; they've known each other since high school. WaterBomb didn't really have any friends (a lot of people saw him as 'unapproachable'; he didn't entirely mean to come off that way), nor did Lynxo (who was a weird little robot-obsessed nerd); Lynxo approached him one day and told him a very lame attempt at a dirty joke, in an attempt to break the ice. WaterBomb thought it was so stupid it was hilarious, and they've been friends ever since. They're the kind of friends where WaterBomb tries to stop Lynxo from doing stupid shit, fails, but is always standing by to bail him out and fondly tell him how much of an idiot he is.
- He used to have a bit of a crush on Lynxo, back in the day, but he got over it years ago. He's still not sure if it was an actual crush, or just a "friend" crush; he never did anything about it since he knew it'd never go anywhere, and anyway, he didn't see the point in making things unnecessarily awkward between him and Lynxo over a crush that he wasn't even entirely sure about. He's entirely supportive of Lynxo's relationship with Icy.
- (Note: This next part is a little rough, I'm still tweaking some of the finer details. But here's what I have so far. also this is mostly copy/pasted from Lynxo's profile, cause heck if I'm rewriting it all over again) Always lived in Felicitas City, but not this version of it. Like Lynxo and Icy, WaterBomb comes from an alternate dimension/world/whatever, which was pretty much the same as the world all of the rest of these characters live in, but with subtle differences. That world ended, and some of its inhabitants were thrown across dimensions, to the world he lives in now, a world that's different yet the same. He doesn't really know what happened, and he's got some blank spaces in his memory now, but hey, things aren't too different here, and at least he's got Lynxo for company, so he's okay with things. Since he was left without a home because of this dimensional shift thing, he moved in with Lynxo, and he's been freeloading off him ever since.
- He sees Taquito as a little sister. He's quite protective of her, but in a different way to Icy; WaterBomb is basically Taq's cool older brother. He tells her inappropriate jokes and would kick anyone's ass if they made fun of her, or otherwise upset her.
- him and Icy have a kind of awkward relationship... he thinks she's nice, and the perfect girlfriend for his bro, but, y'know. She's his best friend's girlfriend, and that's basically the only reason they hang out. (Well, they live together, they can't help but be around each other.) They don't really have anything in common! And WaterBomb is kind of the awkward third wheel sometimes, although he tries not to get in the way too much.
- Hasn't had the best track record with relationships, most of them have been short-lived, the ones that weren't aren't ones he'd really like to remember (i.e. the guy was a jerk/loser). Eventually he meets Wally by chance one day; the two run into each other when WaterBomb drops Taq off at the D'Cruz house to hang out with Sammy. They wait at the bus stop together, get to talking, and strike up a friendship that quickly becomes something more. there's some initial conflict, in that Wally keeps kind of comparing himself to WaterBomb... but WaterBomb catches it quickly, they work it out and move past it. ^^
