You stand before the darkness of The Woods. In the distance, you hear shuffling in the brush.
Something darts between the bushes. You come closer and see a pair of terrified eyes. The creature, whatever it is, disappears into the shadows, squealing as if it were in pain. Puzzled, you begin to wander into the trees. Your body feels cold and you begin to shiver uncontrollably. There is a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. What is this horrible place...?
You feel the overwhelming desire to leave and begin to turn back around, but as you do, a voice catches you.
"You! What are you doing here?" it booms, shaking the branches around you. The voice is guttural, as though its lungs are filled with smoke.
"I..."
"Leave! Leave NOW! These are The Woods. This land is only meant for the abandoned. Now go. GO!"
You run away from the horrible voice and the lonely forest.
Welcome to The Woods. This is where you leave your unwanted characters. That is, if you're sure you want them to live a life of misery and eternal loneliness.
You carefully approach The Woods. From within you can hear the howls of chill winds and stray animals. The shining lost eyes of rogue pets can be seen peering at you from the darkness. An icy shiver runs down your spine and you feel almost too frightened to move...
Somewhere in this dark and lonely place is Aethelia and Boris. Maybe, just maybe, if you can make it to them in time, you can stop Aethelia's rampage...
But how on earth can you possibly find them in this gargantuan forest of horrors? You squint into its dark depths and you can faintly make out the remains of what once must have been a path.
Expending any and all bravery and courage you can muster, you cautiously step onto this trail and follow it. The full moon manages to provide enough light so that you can just barely make out the shadows and outline of the trees around you. You see one of those shadows dart from one corner of your eye to the other, but when you turn to look, nothing is there... You jump as an owl emits an eerie hoot from above and you consider turning back altogether... But no, you must persevere. A few seconds later you come to an intersection, in which four new paths diverge in four different directions... Which one will you take?

After what seems like forever, you finally approach something you haven't seen before. Before you is a rusty locked gate. On either side, the trees are so thick that you couldn't squeeze between them if you wanted to. Getting through the gate is the only way to venture deeper in... Upon closer examination you discover the gate has a number pad on it and below the pad is a note with a scribble mess of faded words: s------- ---g---- f--- -h- ---n---
